True, by no means no. However, as I understand your earlier post you have the same problem with the wireless. So it cannot be a hardware/cable thing really. And as you can set static routes, the problem should only be dhcp .. yet where.

Did you disable IPv6, change MAC or do something else in that direction?

I have disabled IPv6:  ( like shown here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Disabling_IPv6 )
# disable autoload of ipv6
alias net-pf-10 off

I haven't changed my MAC address.

Do you have network in your daemons? I did not see it there in your earlier post but you changed the array after the post a couple of times ..

I suggest you put network in the array again then.
