I have a new laptop, which with windows even if he uses 800+M of ram and allot of processor the fan makes no noise, with linux/arch instead makes allot of noise even if I use only firefox.
I tend to use minimalistic stuff (except firefox) and I use openbox + slim, all other appl's are normal.
I have done some tunning as well :

Installed a fan / cpu software under windows and it showed the temperature up to 39 - 40° C
What's wrong with arch or the kernel or anything?
with 55° it's normal that the fan it's working allot, so why is that?
anybody?
please help, it's really becoming a frustrating issue.

Seems similar to this.
One suggestion that apparently worked was to try updating the bios.

Apparently fixed (after bios update) but now again, when the processor reached 60°C the FAN is on again making allot of noise (it's my music apparently...)
Any other suggestion is welcome.

This is what did the trick (whoever also the bios upgrade I think helped a little bit):
put debugfs /sys/kernel/debug debugfs defaults 0 0
in /etc/fstab
yaourt -S acpi_call-git kernel-headers
modprobe acpi_call
/usr/bin/test_off.sh

source intel - this is about
using sensors it's shows only 2 of my 4 CPU's [why is happening?]
try cpupower instead of cpufrequtils ( have more advantages like hidden turbo boosts, better handle of cpu sleep states etc...)

THANKS GOD it worked, I was becoming ILL from the noise xD
@Suggestion to the guys (or moderators maybe) who have an archlinux wiki account, you may add this "trick" to hybrid cards or powersave becuase I have seen this problem (looking for a solution) that happens especially with hybrid graphical cards.

I did what you write and suddenly my fan on laptop start making so much noise. Comparable to rocket launching, seriously. Of course temp drop by 10 degrees but that was no a point.

yes absolutely, but in my case the 2 problems were related because the FAN was working allot because the temperature of the processor was high, so after getting -10°C the FAN was in sleep again.
PS=> I installed ck kernel but don't know why the temperature is getting higher with ck kernel, so I switched back to the old one.

I think I've misunderstood something then. What is the other driver you mean? I only ran modprobe on acpi_call.
