I have found an applet that gives me the function I have always missed from Unity: window controls in the panel when a window is maximized. Now KDE is as good as perfect for me

That is not conky, but stdin plasmoid (search kde-apps), with custom script, here: http://pastebin.com/hv7pura2
And under it, two news plasmoids

The vertical panel on the very left is plasma-icontasks

That icon is part of Faenza available on AUR faenza-icon-theme

Clean:

Dirty:

1. Global Menu.
2. Panel on autohide.
3. No titlebars, toolbars or window controls.
4. All rarely used elements are hidden.
5. Most of apps are run on fullscreen.
-> About as simple as one can get without touching the code.

I'm looking for this icon so if anyone knows where to find it I would be glad to know.

Wow Teho I'm amazed, even though I'm not into much anime that desktop in general looks amazing. How do you control the windows? ALT+click and the like for moving perhaps? I'm guessing mainly keyboard shortcuts?
