It had been a while since I have done an update, which I just did last night. Now whenever I try to play video using either VLC, mplayer, or dragon X immediately crashes. This is what I have in /var/log/Xorg.0.log:

I'm using catalyst-hook version 11.12-1, and lspci reports:
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M880G [Mobility Radeon HD 4200]
If someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated, and if you need any more info, just let me know. Thank you in advance.

There is an issue with the latest xorg-server and the xv output. (This is probably specific to the Catalyst driver.)
You can either 1) downgrade to xorg-server 1.10.x, 2) configure your video players to use the gl output, or 3) switch to mplayer-vaapi and use the vaapi output.
