is possible split the postfix package?
For example in other distros, like debian, there are some packages for postfix:
postfix - A high-performance mail transport agent
postfix-dev - Postfix loadable modules development environment
postfix-doc - Postfix documentation
postfix-gld - greylisting daemon for postfix, written in C, uses MySQL
postfix-ldap - LDAP map support for Postfix
postfix-mysql - MYSQL map support for Postfix
postfix-pcre - PCRE map support for Postfix
postfix-pgsql - PGSQL map support for Postfixi would like see in arch this type of splitting for not rebuild the package ( compile in a old pentium machine can be upset...). Besides the same thing happen with other packages like courier ![]()
irc.bsd.cl #linux
irc.freenode.org #archlinux-es

it is possible.
I was in contact with the arch packager of postfix a while back, and he said he was trying to do this. That was some time ago, and I basically just gave up on it.
I started compiling my own postfix package.
