Re: Swedish Arch Mirror [split]

ftp.belnet.be is faster than ftp.sunet.se is for me, and I'm *on* sunet ^^

Or try archlinux.antesis.org.  Usually, I was getting over 400 KB/s at university here in Montreal even if it's located in France.

Re: Swedish Arch Mirror [split]

From here (right now), antesis is at 600kB/s, chemnitz @ 700, belnet @ 850kB/s and sunet @ 1.1 MB/s (but sunet's access is a little unstable due to high loads).

Belnet isn't syncing?
It seems to me that new packages announced on rss appears there in a shortly manner.. what have I missed?

Re: Swedish Arch Mirror [split]

belnet hasn't been updated since it went down and that's a pretty long time now, but if it will go back to normal(syncing once or twice/day) behaviour i'll switch back to it,

Re: Swedish Arch Mirror [split]

I talked to Umeå University (they are hosting the main gnome site and a few more) once, about setting up a swedish mirror, but they wanted some information I didn't have (iirc, how big the site is, how fast it grows...), and they thought it was unnecessary since there already are a few european mirrors availible... sad
