It looks cool But can you place the horizontal lines in the h and b lower? (I first read ''nerdstluftwm')

Yes I though of that but it would break the logic of the font, so, I made another banner (see supra).

It's made in GIMP and the glyphs are from bitocra.

Maybe you can make the 'h' width at the same larger than the "w" and "m" ?

It was the easiest to do and it's heavily inspired from dwm's logo.

Well, in terms of letterforms, 'h' must be narrower than 'm' and 'w' otherwise it looks too wide.
To be more precise, the area of the empty space under the 'h' should be approximately equal to the area under the 'm'.

I have an icon I use for vifm which is just the overlay of two icons grabbed of the web (neither with any copyright that would prohibit such manipulation).

No that was ion3, i made a logo for that too in (roughly) the same style.

What's wallpaper size? I think i could make a bigger version of it, but it's bitmapped not vectorized so it would require some work. I'll see what i can do.

I have a 1600x900 screen but if it takes to much work don't waste your time on it, it's just a wallpaper
I might even just use the small image and fill in the background, if that's ok ?

Yes, it is nerdy but colors can be changed easily. All bells and whistles can be added latter, this was just a super quick mockup.
