Took me ages to find out (from the Alt-F5 screen) that the CD installer is not only looking for the "current" folder, which no longer exists at ftp.archlinux.org (hence on all mirrors), but also appends /install to whatever is input manually!
What is the correct folder to use?

I have honestly no idea what you mean ;P
Which iso are you using?

What is the version of the .iso you used to create the CD?
Edit: Good Morning (Afternoon ?) Karol. I see we are on the same page.

It is ftp://ftp.ukc.mirrorservice.org/sites/d … -0.7.1.iso
which I now realise has its folders dated Jan 2006 !
I thought I was following links to the current release but should not have gone via sourceforge...
Now have ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/sites/ftp.a … x86_64.iso
so we can CLOSE THIS THREAD due to my idiocy.

If that iso was a kid, it would be old enough to go to school this year :-)
Please mark the thread as solved. How to do it is explained here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=130309
