Thin client does not shutdown properly

Hi all,

I followed the HowTo at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Di … t_NFS_root and got everything up and running. But when I tried to shutdown my thin client, it hanged at Stopping Network. This problem was solved by the tips at the bottom of the wiki.

Then I started the thin client again, and shut it down again. Now it hangs at "Sending SIGTERM To Processes" and I do not really know how to solve that.
Any tips?

Re: Thin client does not shutdown properly

Ok, I partly solved the problem.

For if I type "init 0" the client does shutdown properly. But on "reboot" it hangs, as described above...

Re: Thin client does not shutdown properly

Just here for reference: I commented out the network interface lines in /etc/rc.conf and it will reboot with the three finger salute.

I may have to CONSOLE you about your usage of ridiculously easy graphical interfaces...
