Only getting g-speed with D-Link DWA-140 (USB) [SOLVED]

I recently bought a DWA-140 (USB) in order to get more use of my 100 Mbit connection. The problem is, i only get g-speeds in Arch and n-speeds in Windows. I suspect that some modules are causing the trouble.

So far I've tried to load rt2870 instead of rt2800usb by blacklisting, however, Arch says module not found and i thought it was already in the kernel, so i installed it from AUR. This does not work, i get no connection, and the DWA-140 doesn't light up.
I've googled for hours and all i get is "blacklist modules", unfortunately this does not work. Anyone got any ideas?

Relevant snip (lsusb?)

Bus 004 Device 002: ID 07d1:3c0a D-Link System DWA-140 RangeBooster N Adapter(rev.B2) [Ralink RT2870]

Re: Only getting g-speed with D-Link DWA-140 (USB) [SOLVED]

I have, unfortunately no ra0-interface show up. lsmod says that the module is up and running but ip link does not show ra0, nor wlan0 (which i get if i just plug the bastard in, not changing or blacklisting anything). And as a result, netcfg does not want to connect to my precious network.

So, I'm getting tired of this, if I can't get it to work, is there some other dongle I can use? One that doesn't make my otherwise good mood >/dev/null...

The problem is solved.  For other people with the same problem, i followed Sharkers instruction in this thread. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=129261.

Apologizes for bumping.
