traffice counter

I use arch linux and ADSL connection and I want understand how much traffice I use per weeks or month . I need traffice counter .and I need some package can do this for me . for example I want understand how much package is transfer by wifi or network . I use android phone and I install network couter and I can understand how much files are transfer today . can I find some packages do this for me ? something like traffice counter .
