Hi,
Yesterday I installed 2011-11 ArchBang on my Laptop. Today I upgraded the system with pacman. I upgraded again 4 hours ago, since then I have a lot of libpng14.so errors due to the latest upgrade as announced on the Archlinux landing page.
With "a lot" i mean that nearly no GUI SW is working anymore except for xorg. I.e. Chromium, Firefox, Tint2, are all broken.
"pacman -Q | grep cairo" gives just 3 packages which have just been upgraded. I re-installed libsrvg, but nothing works.
I cannot downgrade to the previous libpng version since i run into a dependency chain of probably 20 packages.
Is there anyone with similar problems ?

is important to know what pacman -Qs cairo returns and not the number of them ![]()
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

boomshalek, support is provided only for Arch Linux. Please ask Archbang related question on their forums. They would be better able to assist you. Please read our forum rules.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !
