How to configure autonegotiation for module sky2?

Hi,

I'm trying to install Arch on my PC, and to get the network to work I need to specify parameters for autonegotiation, as it defaults to 100M full duplex, but it needs to be set to 10M half duplex in order to work.

Before running the installer, I simply ran

mii-tool eth0 -A 10baseT-HD

and then it worked fine.

However, now that the installation is done I don't know how to basically do the same operation. For starter, I can't use mii-tool since it's not installed, but I also imagine there must be a way to set this as a module option or something, so it to work correctly from boot.

I was hoping that once I found the module used (sky2) using modinfo would get me parameters I could use to e.g. specify the speed it needs to use, but alas there doesn't seem to be anything useful AFAICS. And that's about where I get stuck.

I suppose there might be a "generic" way to define such options, but I can't find how to do so.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-jacky
