Hey all, I have set up an openldap server and it workes great. I can log into a machine and I set it up to automatically create local home directories. However, when I start kdm and try to log in, it says that the password is wrong.
Is there a secret to getting KDE to allow ldap users to login?
Thanks!!!

It depends on if you are using pam or not. Pam can have different "routes" for X login, and for terminal login. You would also need to make sure that kde (kdm) is using pam.

Yeah, I was not using the correct sequence for the kde pam file. I fixed the file and it is working now...
Thanks
