[SOLVED] Removing "Auto eth0" from networkmanager

I just switched from DHCP to Static IP on my network. I'm using networkmanager under KDE4 and I am trying to delete "Auto eth0" from the lisdt but I can't figure out how?

I don't know if you can remove it because it will recreate it, but you can change it so it's not the default.  Here's how I did it...

In nm-applet, create a new eth0 connection by editing "Auto eth0" name and unchecking All Users.  Then
sudo nm-connection-editor    (must use sudo from normal user, not su)

Uncheck connect automatically for Auto eth0.
