Hey Guys,
I performed a fresh install of arch last night and everything is perfect except for cinnamon. The issue is that all right-clink functionality does not exist. I also have gnome3 and XFCE4 installed and right-click works fine.
Would anyone know of a solution to this problem?
Thank You!

how did you install cinnamon? From AUR?

Yes I first installed muffin-git and then installed cinnamon from AUR. Everything installed without any errors.. I'm not sure why it won't work.

I don't think You can right click in cinnamon desktop. I thought I could but I had to log into cinnamon to find out.

So you're saying that you can't right click either? That's very strange. How are you suppose to access sub-menus then?

cinnamon is a modicfication of gnome-shell.
gnome-shell was not designed to have right-clicks.That maybe it.

right-click where?

Like anywhere. I can't right click on folders, I can't view my bookmarks that are in folders in chromium, etc. There is just no right-click functionality at all.

maybe it's something in the cinnamon settings?

That's strange...
You are using nautilus as file manager right? You can't even right-click there?
Arch - makes me feel right at /home

Yes I'm using nautilus. I've checked everywhere in the cinnamon settings but still no avail ![]()

Interesting observation. It right clicks in nautilus. But i can't see it. Becoz I tried right clicking in nautilus randomly and a new folder was just created.

I switched to cinnamon-git and I am able to do right clicks in nautilus with the context menu visible, but still, I can't right click on the desktop.
Edit:
Found that going to cinnamon settings>desktop>have file manager handle desktop option ticked on, brought the desktop which would allow the right clickable context menus.
I think cinnamon-git solves it all.

After the last muffin-git upgrade I had to rebuild cinnamon-git (0120309-1) because of the contextmenu-issue.
