Hello,
Running the most recent kernel, I cannot use dhcpcd. I have opened a topic for that which you can find here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=137252
Someone recommended me to use dhclient instead and I must say (even though I state otherwise in the topic) it's working better than I expected. It's not only faster, but can also connect to a network of my friend which dhcpcd failed to.
Now my question is if I can make netcfg use dhclient by default, so I won't have to manually add DHCLIENT=yes to the config files and can remove dhcpcd from my system.
If you can't sit by a cozy fire with your code in hand enjoying its simplicity and clarity, it needs more work. --Carlos Torres
