KDE 4.8.1, Desktop Effects and applications menu issue.

When KDE's desktop effects are enable the menus of non KDE application are broken.

My graphic card is Intel 3000.

I think it happened after todays pacman -Syu. Does anyone else face something similar?

Examples.

Re: KDE 4.8.1, Desktop Effects and applications menu issue.

You're not alone: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=136752

I've seen this on firefox but even before 4.8.1 so I don't think that recent upgrade is the cause.

Re: KDE 4.8.1, Desktop Effects and applications menu issue.

Changing every theme to oxygen (with gtk-theme-switch2 and qtconfig) "solves" the issue. But it's not a nice solution.

No, installing qtcurve doesn't help.
