I've only 2 workspaces for floating windows; on whole first I've Firefox running, on second - Thunderbird, on third - Pidgin. If I've to, I'm using Alt+LMB to move window.

How do you maximize/move windows? Do you aim every time at that 1 pixel?
There are keyboard shortcuts for that: Alt-F5 and Alt-F10 AFAIR.

PatrickI just ask myself how you realize that many buttons in the titlebar. Normally you just have the window-menu, minimize, maximize and close - but you have 2 more! How do you made it? I want to have a button to make the window stay on top, is that possible?
Thanks in advance!
The buttons on the left are Omnipresent (show window on all desktops) and Shade (Roll up/down)
Take a look at Theme on the Openbox Wiki. That's where I found out how to do it :-)
Cheers
Patrick

I'd like to try DWM, can you share (in private if you want) your config files and tell me how to start?

I use the xfzen-green theme along with a (Green) Modification on the Onyx-Citrus Openbox theme (Which I renamed Onyx-Lime!) As well as a desktop background I created from the stock blue Arch wallpaper, and added XClock (Colours changed, borders removed, and made to always be on the bottom). I don't use panels or Conky's, I like my screen empty, although I did slip up and add icons to my menu - Along with a green Chromium icon I created (Amateurishly, if anyone has a real one to share I'd be grateful!)
File manager on show here is SpaceFM, with Gnome-Wise icons.
Hope you all like black and green!

My current desktop :
country flag on bottom left corner is conky work in progress, supposed to display WAN ip location;
tint2 on the left side since 720P resolution is really short on height ;
pretty basic / clean, and eveyrthing is keyboard shortcuted, hurray openbox.

What windows manager and gtk theme are you using? Is your menu manually edited or you are using some pipe menu?

Hey guys, here is a pic of my setup. A few comments:
I go mostly for productivity rather than aesthetics, although I am trying to give my desktop an Arch look. It'd be cool if there were official-ish openbox themes for Arch).
I try to make my desktop visually efficient, so I keep some ugly design choices.
Scrot really messed up the fonts... they all look antialiased, even though I used non-antialiased terminus.
Easter egg spoiler: Windows 7 drive

Oh yeah: Openbox / tint2 / urxvt / thunar / dmenu !

Moderator edit: manuw, welcome to the forums. Please note that we must restrict the size of pictures you may post. Yours is far too big so it has been reduced to it's URL. Also please have a look at our screenshot posting rules. And it is a good idea to accompany the pictures you post with some descriptive text. -- bernarcher

It is just stock tint2 from Arch Repos or tint2-svn from AUR.
