The tasklist shows a VLC icon. So my guess is VLC skinned.

It's just the default VLC media player 2.0 with Qt interface. I might have removed some buttons and the Oxygen-transparent Qt-theme gives it an unique look.

Moderator note: pseb you do know about our picture pasting policy, don't you? Pixel wise this image is too large. But because it is only 19 KBytes in size I'll leave it as it is. (Our policy is mainly there to prevent large download times on slow connections.) -- bernarcher

Shameless cross-post from the March thread:
Switched from Mint + Cinnamon to Arch + KDE yesterday. I've tried Arch before, but this was the smoother install by far.

Sure, Icons are Buuf Deuce.
Plasma is Caledonia.
Qt style is just oxygen with the negro color scheme.

You can set oxygen-gtk theme for gtk apps to look on par with the kde ones.
Also give a try to kde applications like konversation and k3b.
Here is my desktop, not much changed since last month.

The plasma theme is indeed AIr with tray icons from plasma theme Gaia, or something like that. Blur effect is off.
As for the Irc message, I was just trying to connect to localhost without having on the bitlbee daemon. Or something like that I'm not really sure.
