Cannot connect to university's wifi

Hello, I've got a strange issue  with a wifi network on Archlinux.
Wireless works like a charm except for my university's network, which doesn't need any WEP/WPA and so on keys, but it has a login form to allow for navigation.
On Windows I can connect to it but when i try to browse any page it (obviously ) ask for login and password; on arch I can not connect to it, because when I click on it it stucks for about 30 seconds on "connecting" and it finally fails again, again, again.

I use Gnome 3 as DE.
Any advice?
Sorry for my poor english.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Cannot connect to university's wifi

Not exactly alot of info to go on here.

I suggest trying to connect "manually" (as explained here) and looking at the output you get there.

Re: Cannot connect to university's wifi

Unfortunately I can't try it before one week and I would not have much time to do it there. But really, thank you anyway!
Any other advice?

P.s. I know that is in some way against the "arch philosophy" but this time I can't face this problem in other ways.
