Issues with ssh-add and gpg-agent

Hi, I currently have some ssh keys that I would like to import into gpg-agent in order to have one program to manage my keys. However, I get the following error:

Enter passphrase for /home/user/.ssh/id_ecdsa:
SSH_AGENT_FAILURE
Could not add identity: /home/user/.ssh/id_ecdsa

I have gpg-agent set up according to the wiki: SSH Keys#GnuPG_Agent. I've searched and have already tried recreating ~/.gnupg. Any other ideas?

Are ecdsa keys supported by gpg-agent now?
