Eclipse IDE hangs on autocomplete because of a theme
Hi everyone, recently I changed my theme and now everytime eclipse tries to autocomplete something or to display the declaration of a function in that little popup, the whole IDE just hangs. Every other app on the system is working fine. If I change the theme, this problem does not exist. Do you know what might be the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks!
I don't know if I was clear enough but basicly everytime the little popup tries to show, eclipse hangs for about 15 seconds.

Use a different theme? Eclipse has been known to do weird stuff when it comes to GTK. It would never hang on me, but I had other fun stuff, like black text on black background in this autocompletion pop-up.
I know this probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but I'm afraid this is for the Eclipse guys to fix.

Since this is theme specific problem, why should the bug be in eclipse and not in the theme. There should be a way to fix the theme.

since you haven't mentioned what particular theme has a problem, it would be difficult for someone to help.
I am not saying that I know the solution, but information like that is needed given that you have an issue with that one theme.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

and why did you have to start a new thread when you already have one for the same issue ?
