[SOLVED]Compiz(standalone) and Display managers not working
This is my first time trying to setup anything nearly this complicated after migrating from Ubuntu 6 hours ago. However I am trying to create a very personalized setup with A display manager ( LXDM currently), Compiz for window manager,lxpanel, firefox and a few other programs.
My problem is that whenever I follow the guides to allow compiz as a window manager from the display mangers I get stuck in a loop where I login, screen flashes and I am asked to login again. I can however run compiz and lxpanel just fine through xinitrc. Its only whenever I run it through the display manager that it appears to not want to start.

It was a typo in the desktop script
