samba + webmin not cooperating
appears webmin is looking for a version up startup and samba is not spitting one out
[root@~~~ /]# /usr/sbin/smbd -V
[root@~~~ /]# /usr/sbin/smbd -v
###
error from webmin

Webmin failed to get the version of your Samba server executable /usr/sbin/smbd. Check your module configuration to make sure this is the correct path.

Just for the record, im having the same problem. -V option doesnt show the version number and webmin displays the same error.

Look in your cache /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ to see if it's still there. If so, install it with
pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/<pkgname>

I have the same problem untill yesterday - but
Pacman -Sy samba took care of all the problems for me.. Without erasing my conf. files
Just getting better .... All the time
