Hello,
since i upgraded "linux-ck (3.3.7-1 -> 3.4-1)" ufw has problems.
When entering "ufw enable" it tells me about an error in ufw-init.
It gives zero detail about the error.
However the firewall seems take some effect but not as desired.
It ignores the rules, but follows the defaults (incoming outgoing).
Last but not least it deleted 90% of the ipv6 rules, but not their v4 counterparts.
I am sure it is a kernel related problem because:
Everything works fine with linux 3.3.7-1 , which i installed alongside 3.4-1.
Edit: error when starting at boot:
iptables-restore: line 91 failed
iptables-restore: line 62 failed
Solved: Setting localmodconfig to "n".

You should probably edit your post so it says linux-ck. That way graysky, the linux-ck maintainer, will be more likely to read this. It might even be better to post here but I am not sure...

update: still the same with linux-ck 3.4.1-2-ck and ufw-0.31.1-1

Your comparison is _NOT_ a fair one. You are comparing 3.3.7-1-ARCH to 3.4.1-2-ck. You must compare 3.4.1-1-ARCH to 3.4.1-2-ck or you must compare 3.3.7-1-ARCH to 3.3.7-1-ck. I am running linux-ck-3.4.1-2 (corex) with no problems:
$ status ufw
ufw.service - CLI Netfilter Manager
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/ufw.service; enabled)
Active: active (exited) since Fri, 08 Jun 2012 08:13:26 -0400; 6h ago
Process: 570 ExecStart=/usr/lib/ufw/ufw-init start (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
CGroup: name=systemd:/system/ufw.service

CPU-optimized Linux-ck packages @ Repo-ck • AUR packages • Zsh and other configs

I am sorry for the inconvinience. I just realized that localmodconfig does a rather bad job, and you should know how to improve the outcome manually before compiling.
It was all my fault. Ufw works fine with full module support and linux 3.4.2-3-ck.
