[ SOLVED ] Network disappears after a few reboots

I have tried to install Arch twice and both times after rebooting it several times network connection disappears ( i.e., daemon starts ok, but no connection is preset ).

By looking at the error.log, it seems that dhcpcd fails to obtain requested IP address ( nothing specified in rc.conf ).

Is there anything I might be missing or it is a know problem ( saw the same question somewhere else ) ?

hi MinimalBoot

was the connection wireless or wired? could you post what was in rc.conf and error.log?
and by any chance, do you know your wireless module?

It was and still is a wired connection. As per the module .. could it be ipw2200 ?
Anyway, due to the trouble, I have switched to networkmanager for now and till now it's been doing it's job pretty well.
