New Kernel upgrade
I Syu'd two days ago and after which, my battery started charging all the way to 100%. It also gave me the longest battery life since I've got this laptop. I've written about this before [https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=129597]. However, after an Syu yesterday, things returned to normal funny behavior. May I know what exactly you guys did to the kernel over the past few days?

Yes, that seems to be the opposite of what I was having. For once, my laptop was running extremely well.

You guys are tinkering with the kernel again and my battery life is back to its old useless status after a few weeks of nearly two hours.

You do realize that "you guys" just use the upstream kernel package (with a few small patches applied), right?
If you're sure that your issue is kernel related (can't really be sure with the huge amount of detailed info you've posted), consider filing a bug report upstream.

Or just compile your own kernel of the version you found was best for YOUR hardware....
