Hi there! Just replaced wicd with netcfg and qtwifimon on my openbox/fbpanel netbook. Seems to work great! Shows up in fbpanel tray, icons and all. Great!
When installing are there any configs one can do to test it without some of the KDE/qt asssistant deps?

Hi
Nice to hear, that you both like it!
When installing are there any configs one can do to test it without some of the KDE/qt asssistant deps?
Do you mean the the icons? You can check the file under ~/.config/qtwifimon/qtwifimon.rc
Just uncomment the line with the icons and adapt it to your needs.

No, when installing I got the probable misconception that is a KDE app, but it's not. So Im really OK! Thanks for the effort!
