Basically, once you set up your desktop the way you like (wallpaper, gtk theme, openbox theme, .Xresources, tint2, conky, etc),
click 'save' on crunchbox and it will save the .dotfiles/configuration files, and take a screenshot.
Later on, if you change your desktop again, you can click on the screenshot to load all the configs saved and make your desktop look like it does on the screenshot.

Adding support for new programs(ie, lxpanel, etc) is super easy too. Don't even have to know any programming, really.
best part is, when you do a fresh install, just backup ~/.config/crunchbox where everything is saved
