I'm sorry, I searched the forum and found similar issues, but I did not manage to understand well the problem.
I have some scripts in /etc/pm/sleep.d/ that run only if I run
# pm-suspendelse if I use xfce's suspend or
$ dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest="org.freedesktop.UPower" /org/freedesktop/UPower org.freedesktop.UPower.Suspendonly /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/ scripts are executed (checked through /var/log/pm-suspend.log).
NOTE: All scripts permission in /etc/pm/sleep.d/ is set to executable

lol, hi nierro... actually one the post I mentioned at the beginning of previous message was yours
anyway, yup all owned by root:root
I think for some reason Upower modifies (or doesn't set) some path var related to pm-utils , so that only "system" scripts are executed

Yeah, i' with you, i had (and i'm having) lots of troubles with pm-utils and upowerd... ![]()
Hope you can find your answer, contrary to me! The root thing was the only i came up with...
I only can tell you i'm using xfce too, and i'm not having this sort of problem, so look at your configs; don't know if it can help (i think no, sorry
)
