Multiple connections fail

(This is not arch related, happens in every distro)
Since i use linux(2 years now) that i always had problems when i try to keep multiple active internet connections.
If i have two or more active connections, every connection except the first fails, or even all of them fail.
The speeds start to reduce until they simply stop, and then after some seconds they start again.(and stop again).
I have this problem in three different computers(all of them running arch in different hardware, and inside the same network(Belkin F6D4230-4 V1 router)), and it happens since ever(i am just asking now, because now i really need a good internet access to work, and it starts to annoy a lot).

To be more specific: I can only browse the web(one page at time) or, use (eg.)skype to talk, or install something on the system(pacman/yaourt), or use torrents, or use IRC, or anything else...
Is "Or" not "and".
(I have 10Mb-1.2MB/0.5Mb-65KB internet connection)
-If i only browse the web, the pages are pretty fast to load.
-If i only use skype, the call is pretty stable.
-If i only install something on the system from the network, the speeds are reasonably in 300/500KB/s.
-If i only download (one) torrent, the speeds go up to 1.1MB/s easily.
-If i only use IRC, everything is "instant" as expected.

If i use two or more connections at the same time:
-Simple web-pages take up to 15 seconds to load.
-The call is always failing, and has lots of lag.
-The download speed goes up to 400KB/s(150KB average) for a max of 5-8 seconds. (Then it fails and after it, or recovers in less than 10 seconds, or changes mirror constantly like this: http://pastebin.com/kMHpCbWa).
-The torrent speed stays between 0 and 20KB.
-Simple text Irc messages take some seconds to appear.

This only happens, when using internet.
If i do many connections(like ftp), between two computers inside the lan, the sum of speed's matches the limit of the router(Fast Ethernet - 11.5 to 12 MB/s)

I already spent some time in Arch IRC, and i was told to check router QoS, or install a custom firmware on the router.
I don't know how to do it, nor if it will solve the problem.
At least THIS router, can handle connections perfectly on other O.S.'s. Whats wrong here?

I did give this a reasonable amount of thought. It pretty much has to be your router or your ISP.
The only other things I might suggest you:
Use a different DNS server. You are probably configured to use the one provided by your router.
When you are having trouble, try some diagnostics such as tracepath to see what is causing delays.
