Sorry, that's right! I got problem like this https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=143545&p=1 but I've also noticed lagginess, I'm only guessing that it's related.

Is it me or really I can't find how to activate the 'delete file' function in the general tab of dolphin's options? I'm stuck with 'move to trash' always a clean start and I hate it
Also kmix always crash on exit , and oxygen-transparent makes dolphin crash on exit too.
That's all for now
Thank you Andrea

'Delete file' is a plugin now, so look at the plugins tab.

I installed KDE 4.9rc2
everything is much faster. kwin is so much snappier than older versions.
but there seems to be a dependency issue or packaging issue.
lddd says,
/usr/bin/kmailcvt:
libmailimporter.so.4 => not found
can it be fixed? I hate broken dependencies.

Still can't send files over oscar (icq)... But otherwise seems ok now.
Edit:
Oh yes, and otr.
Edit:
Oh and it still can't remember to automatically accept self signed certificates (the checkbox has no effect).
Oh and it can't quite remember login information for services like windows live xmpp.
You know what, scratch that "seems ok". Still pre alpha and not useful for productive use. In my opinion.

Please, if you haven't already, file the appropriate bugs against the kde-telepathy bug tracker. There are still few kde-telepathy users and its easy for the devs to miss bugs.

Akonadi doesn't start with the new version of boost. I presume a rebuild is needed.

Yes:
/usr/bin/akonadi_control: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_program_options.so.1.49.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I presume you didn't enable [testing].
EDIT: my fault...I forgot to push the packages!

I have testing enabled, hence the new boost version

Mind i ask you what video card and driver you are using if your kwin is faster?

Kwin with opengl effects is faster for me too on a HD 6550M with the open source driver - on low/mid power profile. On full power it was good before too.

I can't find how to install this. Can anyone help me.
I know I have to enable testing and kde-unstable.
Can I do then pacman -S kde-meta on a clean install ?

pacman -S kde-unstable/kde
community-testing is also a good idea.

Is KDE-unstable empty or something?
When I do pacman -Syyu I see this message appear:
Failed to update [kde-unstable]. No mirrors found for this repostitory.

Did you also uncomment the two lines below [kde-unstable] in pacman.conf?
Offline
Nope, I have put them myselve.
So It looks like this :
[kde-unstable]
SigLevel = PackageRequired
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
