The reason its ugly is becoz of the font rendering. Follow the wiki as others suggested. You shall see a significant difference.

It looks like it uses a monospace font. Maybe it's a custom font, or a font available only on Windows. Check the website's code and/or CSS file for any 'font-family' mentions.

I assume it's a bitmap font which is being scaled.
Solution: Use a decent truetype font, instead of a bitmap font. And install Infinallity's rendering, because it's the best.
