Can someone explain why fonts looks so ugly?

It's horror appear only on few sizes, on larger\smaller fonts all ok.
fonts.configs.all -- http://ompldr.org/vZXhkaA
Almost all probable fonts are installed.
s pacman -S --asdeps freetype2 libxft cairo fontconfig has no effect

Install either the freetype and fontconfig ubuntu patches or the infinality patches. Both are available in the AUR.

The reason its ugly is becoz of the font rendering. Follow the wiki as others suggested. You shall see a significant difference.

It looks like it uses a monospace font. Maybe it's a custom font, or a font available only on Windows. Check the website's code and/or CSS file for any 'font-family' mentions.

I assume it's a bitmap font which is being scaled.

Solution: Use a decent truetype font, instead of a bitmap font. And install Infinallity's rendering, because it's the best.
