all panels are in autohide mode, so that no precious screen space is wasted in panels.
The top right panel has a window control plasmoid, the menubar plasmoid and the notification plasmoid.
Should be clear that I like dark-opaque themes

Hi, can you please give the name of your theme? Thanks.
Ouh, really nice work.

Hi, can you please give the name of your theme? Thanks.
Ouh, really nice work.
So these are the full specs of my desktop
widget style:
Blackstone Bespin (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Bl … ent=152236)
plasma theme:
Tibanna (from the kdeartwork-desktopthemes package in [extra], the one in kde-look is outdated) with some changes made by me
wallpaper:
it's a screenshot from an empty konversation window that matches the bespin background motive.
extra plasmoids used:
kdeplasma-applets-menubar (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=60786)
kdeplasma-applets-yawc (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=59215)
icon theme:
ubo icons (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=122078) with some little changes made by me. Best icon theme ever IMHO.

Thank you very much. How about GTK integration?

I only use libreoffice and chromium, both with the oxygen-gtk widget style. Of course the integration isn't perfect, this is what works and what not.
Works.
1. Since the menubar is exported via the menubar widget, you actually have the bespinified menubar in libreoffice too
2. Being on a netbook I always use maximized windows without the window title bar, so you don't have a different styles for the window title bar, toolbar, etc
Doesn't work
1. AFAIK it's not possible to export the bespin background motive in oxygen-gtk, so you can just match the color scheme.
Anyway, this how libreoffice and chromium look like. In Chromium i just set "use gtk theme" so that it uses oxygen-gtk.

I don't want to go off topic but I have to ask: How do you guys use Activities ? Are you using them at all ? I have set up my KDE desktop the way I want and I have my 4 virtual desktops in my 'Home' Activity and that's the only Activity I have. I have to admit that I have very little knowledge about how Activities work... Any thoughts on that ? Thanks.

I don't use them at all. For me, the most useless feature in KDE.
Offline
I use activities. I'll post up a screenshot of me doing so for your viewing pleasure.
LAZY
Lazy, empty screenshot of desktop 1 in my main web-use activity.
Fake Busy
Me faking being busy. Same activity, same desktop.
Desktop Grid View
Desktop Grid View of my web activity, with desktop 1 in fake busy pose still.
Activity 2 (Book Activity) View
Here is my second activity, the Book & Game Night (Tabletop RPG) activity, showing desktop 1.
Now some explanation:
I am a bit of an organization freak, I admit. I use my web activity for website stuff. I have my browser on desktop one, dolphin opened to website files on desktop 2, editors for website work on desktop 3 and leaving desktop 4 for the odds and ends (system maintence and the like). Of course you don't see that in these screenshots cause I took them after changing my desktop look, updating my system (with a kernel update) and rebooting my system. But that is how I use my first activity.
My second activity is there for working on my RPG books and for when I host a tabletop RPG game night. I have all such related files open in only that activity. I use desktop 1 as my staging point, thus the twin folder views shoing different collection of files. I also do my working on the book in desktop 1. Desktop 2 is for my maps and map making. Desktop 3 is for my character sheets and PDF files and such. Desktop 4 is for my music player of choice, Clementime.
I have Kopete set to all activites. I have my hidden panel, shown in some of those screenshots, that provide a point&click means to move to different activities. Furthermore I have shortcuts to them: Super + B for book activity, Super + N for NorOva (internet activity).
I once used activites and no virtual desktops, and worked with it that way for a while. I had an activity for each task, and switched to them like most others would switch to different virtual desktops. I even have screenshots here of such. But I wanted to be able to also make use of moving by dragging files to different desktops in Desktop Grid mode, so I tried for a while not using activities and using only virtual desktops, which worked ok to. However my desire for organization, and missing being able to keep certain files set up and resumed on an activity after pausing and unpausing it, made me want to find a good balance for myself. So, I switched to what I have now, 2 activities, 4 desktops each, and for me it works great.
Some may not have use for activities, but I do, so I am glad that feature exists for those of us who make use of it. I would love some more improvement on it, ie, incorporating it into the desktop grid mode for example, but it at least works pretty well.

THE easiest way to explain activities: Imagine you use your notebook for work and for fun. You don't want to mix those two. You go to work in the morning and use "work" activity, where you got old-school desktop with icons, shortcuts to apps you need in work, your .pdf's/.odt's you're working on under fingertips etc. After work you go back to home, you literally pause "work" activity and switch to "destkop" activity where you got fancy plasmoids/widgets, funny pictures, shortcuts to games etc. That's it.
I don't know why people have hard time to get this. Another thing is that activities are more and more cluttering everything and are "forced", lurking at you from every part of desktop. I don't know if there is some hack'ish solution to disable this globally. There is none official disable activities button. I don't have particular need for activities right now and still there are everywhere. There are even worse situations: there is no "sort by" in dolphin's context menu but there is "activities" - that's... lets call it politely - unfortunate as hell.

Take a look at WorkFlow plasmoid. Activities are pretty nice and handy: the idea is somehow similar to tags in dwm.
