Weird connectivity losses

Hi everyone,

I just reinstalled my laptop after putting in a new SSD, I use GNOME3 and networkmanager to connect to wireless networks as I did before.

I am experiencing weird connectivity issues:
While I am connected to my wireless network with a good signal strenght, I can't reach anything after a couple of seconds. E.g: when I connect to the network, I can ping the gateway just fine and browse the web noticing no delays or anything, then suddenly nothing works, no ping, no web browsing. Sometimes it comes back after a couple of minutes only to fail again.
As a bonus on the weirdness it seems to be location dependent: At some places in the house I have this issue and only 5 meters away I don't.

The nm-applet shows a good connection during all of this, so does iwconfig:

I have no idea what the problem might be. The error log and daemon log show nothing that indicates a problem with the network.

Any ideas?

So out of curiosity I just inserted my old hard drive with the old system again and everything works fine there!

I have the same signal strength values and no connectivity losses....

My old installation is 32 bit, my new one is 64, could it have something to do with that?
