I just updated my install and as of this morning I cannot connect to the internet via wifi or RJ-45. I should have done a restart after updating but things have been so smooth I didn't feel it necessary, my bad. So I have googled around and searched the forums and have come up empty so far.
NetworkManager-wait-online.service - Network Manager Wait Online
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/NetworkManager-wait-online.service; enabled)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Wed, 15 Aug 2012 15:00:17 -0500; 13min ago

Use NetworkManager.service instead of NetworkManager-wait-online.service

I have been using both. Any ideas on what logs to check to sort this out?

You don't need NetworkManager-wait-online.service. It only waits until the internet connection is established and fails if this does not occur 30 seconds after the service is startet. It has nothing to do with the acutal connection.
