hi,
i recently installed arch on my desktop
my configuration is:
mb asus m4a89gtd pro usb3
cpu amd 1055t x6
gpu igp ati hd4290
4gb ram ddr3 1333mhz
hd 1 tb wd caviar black
kernel 3.4.9-1-ARCH
video driver fglrx
desktop manager gnome 3.4.2
i'm using init and not systemd (i don't have experience on it, so i didn't make experiment)
often (2 times of 3) after the grub system doesn't boot, i disabled quiet mode and the last messagge that i can see is
: : running early hook [udev]
: : running hook [udev]
: : triggering uevents. . .
i look at boot.log kernel.log dmesg but i didn't find nothing interesting.
here the logs:
Boot.log
kernel.log
Dmesg

You are right there is really nothing all too interesting in those logs that I can see either. Have you tried any of this
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Boot_Debugging
Maybe you can go through some of that to narrow it down. As of now, it may just be too vague to really help you out. I would try to disable the clearing of boot messages/info. Go find some more info... good luck!

I followed the guide https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Boot_Debugging
I set extreme debug option (loglevel=8) then i checked the log printed on the screen.
the line before the last says "ATK0110 ATK0110:00: EC enabled", there is a second line after it but I can't read it clearly.
here is dmesg of a successful boot.

i did some reboots after i had disabled "fuse", so i discovered that the line where the boot hang is different every time.

How long have you tried to wait for the system to boot? Also, have ou backgrounded your daemons? From limited knowledge/information, it seems you may be just waiting for something to finish executing loading... I am not even remotely certain about this though, as the ATK... stuff seems to be amd related, and I use Intel.

after the debug i discovered that i have a common error for ati closed driver, that it seems unresolvable.
i found this ACPI Warning: 0x0000000000000b00-0x0000000000000b07 SystemIO conflicts with Region \_SB_.PCI0.SBRG.ASOC.SMRG like in this post https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=141342
it's a common error.
until i'll have a nvidia card my arch system is useless.
so cya in better green time
