My wireless connection has been suffering lately. After a lot of searching for answers and sifting through logs, I believe I've found the culprit. It's hard to really find the conditions that cause this problem to happen, but it seems to happen most after a wake-up from suspend.

Eventually, each time this reset occurred, it would fail, saying something about the network queue being full.
Any thoughts? Anybody experience something similar? I can't be sure if a recent linux upgrade or replacing my wireless router is what's exposing this problem.
EDIT: See notes below about disabling the queue watchdog in iwlwifi.

This sounds not too dissimilar to an issue I had not long ago. What kind of wireless card is it? I remember mine had to do with turning on/off hardware encryption.

$ lspci | grep -i network
02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 (rev 35)A friend told me about some power-saving options, which I tried turning on and off to attempt to fix the problem, but that didn't help.
What exactly did you try?

Not sure if this is the thread I used, but this is definately the option I remember setting

Awesome. Thanks for the lead. I found these to follow up:

AFAICT, it will do the same thing as ath9k's hw nohwcrypt. I'll see if it starts working consistently and report back. Lots of people seem to be disabling
11n_disabletoo, which I just don't want to do.
In any case, lots more options to try:
parm: swcrypto:using crypto in software (default 0 [hardware]) (int)
parm: 11n_disable:disable 11n functionality, bitmap: 1: full, 2: agg TX, 4: agg RX (uint)

Nope. No progress. I see that some redhat folks are experiencing the same problem though: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=805285
Knowing more about this queue watchdog is probably a good place to start. If there's a bug that's getting fixed in fw land, I can live with my driver restarting occasionally for now, but I'd at least like some more information.

wd_disableseems to be the option that works. I'm going to let it run some more to see if there's some disruption. Glad it's a bug that's being fixed!
