Apache is not working

I had installed apache and everything was ok, until I ran a program in c that when a browser sent request, it served a web page using sockets. After that, whenever I typed localhost, it showed me my Documents directory. Then I configured the files a bit and took a forbidden error. Now I uninstalled apache and php using the rn options but now I get this error when I type localhost:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Re: Apache is not working

Ok, I fixed the problem by scrolling down, after the spot where you choose the directory and set the second one to the same as the first.
