So I set up a Samba server today, and I thought I had done everything correctly, but I cannot connect to it .
[guest@pluto ~]$ smbclient -L localhost
Enter guest's password:
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
[guest@pluto ~]$ smbclient -L localhost -U%

To setup all I did was:
pacman -S samba
cp /etc/samba/smb.conf.default /etc/samba/smb.conf
;Added samba to startup deamons in rc.conf
rc.d start samba
pdbedit -a -u guest
reboot
smbpasswd -e guest
From another machine running windows it finds my opens a dialog box when I set the path to \\<SERVER-IP>\
but then I cannot use any credentials to log on.
