When I work on this computer, the ethernet stops after a while, sometimes this is after 2 minutes, sometimes after half an hour. When I do
sudo /etc/rc.d/network restart
everything works again for a while. The internet doesn't work in chromium nor pacman so it isn't just one application.
Anyone knows how I can find the cause of this?

What does “ethernet stops” mean?
Can you ping your router? 126.96.36.199? Does it work with wireless? Do you have another computer on the same network, can it still ping the router / internet, do both computers have different IPs?
Also, tell us about your network. Are you plugged into a corporate or school network? your own private router? into a DSL or Cable modem?
When it stops, what is the output of ip link ??
of ip addr ??
of ip route ??
What is the make, model and chipset of your NIC?

I think this had to do something with KTorrent, I was seeding some and now I turned it off. It has been working since half an hour, hope it is solved. Can this be a problem with how Arch divides 'bandwith' between applications?
