Been a while, not a lot of time to play with wm's and I'm getting lazy. Deceided to give KDE a spin, working smooth for me.

DWM without bar. Replaced it with a simple conky to show some basic info since that was all i was using the bar for anyways.
Also changed colors and added a script for changing the wallpaper every 5 mins. Solved my problem with the urge for changing the wallpaper all the time smile

This is part (colors, panels) of my config, because the rest are still being tested.
I'll share the full config later.

Why are you using the Faience Gtk theme with the Adwaita Window theme? It looks odd like that.

PragmataPro makes your screens look your desktop look so retro. That shot reminds of of StarTrek for some reason.

Re: November 2012 Screenshots

Here is mine, showing some Fluxbox love.

Clean

Dirty
PzLue.png

I made the theme, it's called RedRum and if anyone wants i'm glad to share.
Conky still needs some attention but i'm still undecided on what to show in the background and how.

Tilda slides in from the left, terminator as default term and using 'compton -b' to handle transparencies.

could you please post your configs?  i also use solarized-dark, but the colors look slightly different on my terminal, and my weechat status line has a wrong background color.  my terminal is urxvt, which i use with this ~/.Xresources:

!Xft.dpi: 96
Xft.antialias: 1
Xft.autohint: 1
Xft.lcdfilter: lcddefault
Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintfull
Xft.rgba: rgb
URxvt.depth: 32
URxvt.scrollBar:	false
URxvt.font: xft:Inconsolata:size=16
URxvt.fontBold: xft:Inconsolata:bold:size=16
URxvt.fontBoldItalic:	xft:Inconsolata:bold:italic:size=16
URxvt.loginShell:	true
URxvt.letterSpace:	-2
URxvt.lineSpace:	0
URxvt.visualBell:	true
URxvt.fading: 10

! drop in Solarized colorscheme for Xresources
!!
!! ## Installation
!! 1) Write to $HOME/.Xresources
!! 2) If not using Xsession, you must add the line `xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources`
!! to `.xinitrc`. See http://manpages.ubuntu.com/Xsession for more details.
