After years of using Gnome or Openbox, I've decided to give Awesome a try. Only minor customization for now.

I was about to comment on the font in your top panel, and then I realized you're the creator of bitocra. Awesome font! It might be the best bitmap font I've ever used. I especially like the numerals; they're simply beautiful.

Hey, glad to hear someone is so enthusiastic about bitocra! I tried to keep as close as possible to OCR-A originally, but I ended up changing a lot to make it cleaner and smoother as a bitmap font. However, the numbers in OCR-A are very blocky to begin with, so my versions ended up looking almost identical, with very few minor modifications (on the 5 and 8).

Also, I had no idea that Ypnose had taken over maintenance of the package. Thanks Ypnose! I should really just figure out how to write the PKGBUILD myself so it doesn't break for everyone else when I update git.

I just did a redesign of my destop,

I really like it, the problem is, with Awesome wm, My screen space is so well managed, I rarely see it!

I'm finally using something besides the default theme and icons. It's also my first time using a dark theme. I'm one step closer to being a TRUE Arch Linux user. Next I just need to switch to a tiled window manager.

So Openbox users aren't true Arch users?
I understand the trend of going tiling but isn't diversity what makes us, well, different?

I was under the impression that anyone using Arch was a true Arch Linux user. We've all had to live through the systemd transition insanity. What more do you want?

Made a few changes from my previous setup (see pg. 87 of the Openbox thread). Main difference is removal of AWN in favour of the tint2-svn launcher.
