After last update pcmanfm can not get access to any folder under applications. I open Applications, then click i.e. Internet, and I get blank screen - no app list.
Running pcmanfm from cli shows it tries to release /tmp/.menu-cached-:0-$USERNAME, but fails.
Seems like menu-cached problem as https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=153031.

What have you tried to fix it? Was it successful?
What is your question?

downgrading a package is a workaround, not a solution.
chuchuqa : did you file a bug report ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

it's the LXDE team bug http://blog.lxde.org/?p=963, and a similar bug report https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/32701?p … menu-cache was closed with WONTFIX.

correct, and the menu-cache package is already flagged out of date so this problem should go away once 0.40.1 is in the repos.
Looks like another bug report is not needed.

Seems to me, 0.4.1 won't fix the problem... Because in arch package 0.4.0 the missed header is included.
# journalctl|grep -i "menu-cache"

strange thing: in a fresh system install there's no such problem...
