Hello.
I'm installing Arch Linux (32 bit) on a virtual machine with VirtualBox. When I begin the installation procedure, the command window halts at:
Arch Linux 3.6.4-1-ARCH (tty1)
archiso login: root (automatic login)
root@archiso ~ # [ OK ] Started Initializes Pacman keyring.
[ OK ] Reached target Multi-User.

Help?

Hit return. I think you will find you are logged in as root, bit a systemd message arrived just after the log in.

It looks like messages are displaying over the login. Perhaps the getty.service doesn't have type=idle.
Can you just hit enter for another prompt and/or type commands there?

I hit return so now I'm just:
root@archiso ~ #

...and so the Arch adventure begins anew!

I hit return so now I'm just back to the page before this one.....

Not but seriously... I've hit return (enter) 7 times, and got these solutions options;
root@archiso ~ #
root@archiso ~ #
root@archiso ~ #
root@archiso ~ #
root@archiso ~ #
root@archiso ~ #
root@archiso ~ #
Now, If something can explain to me how this was marked as SOLVED, I'd be willing to hear how...... and,... I am being good to everyone (and being better than just good by telling the truth when it hurts

You're kidding, right?
and being better than just good by telling the truth when it hurts
I'm sorry, I don't get what is that supposed to mean.
"open source is about choice"
No.
Open source is about opening the source code complying with this conditions, period. The ability to choose among several packages is just a nice side effect.

You are at a CLI screen, read the beginners guide and it will tell you what to do...

As one who values truth even when it hurts, you definitely need to read the beginners guide or more likely - if a command prompt makes you think something is wrong - you need to chose a different distro.

Thread was solved, now it is either trolling or a case of terminal WTF.
In any event, this is done. Closing.
