samba openldap

hi! i setup samba and openldap on arch64 following this guide http://www.idealx.org/prj/samba/smbldap … tml#htoc14, but my problem is i can't add any users. when i run smbldap-useradd -m testuser1 i get the following:

Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at /usr/bin//smbldap_tools.pm line 241.
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/bin//smbldap_tools.pm line 241.
Error looking for next uid at /usr/bin//smbldap_tools.pm line 993.

i am running it as root and everything. any ideas?

got it working finally! i'm thinking about writing a howto for the wiki and stuff.
