Hi guys. Hope y'all are having a great day. I've been slowly building up my arch system, just got wifi working, however I cannot figure out how to get it to automatically connect to the network. That's what I need help with.
Whenever I want to connect I need to run "wifi-menu wlp6s0"
The wiki says to run "systemctl enable net-auto-wireless.service" to take care of the problem I'm having, but it didn't seem to help.
Anything else you need to know please ask. Thanks!

This seems like the easiest solution to me: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … _Operation
Your method is mentioned there as well, but did you install wpa_actiond, make sure your netcfg config files are the proper format, and defined a list of wireless networks to be automatically connected with the AUTO_PROFILES variable in /etc/conf.d/netcfg?
Personally, I'd just go with the single profile approach unless you know you are going to be wanting to automatically connect to multiple networks.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I did install apw_actiond. I didn't know about the netcfg config. Wireless interface was wrong, so I changed that. As far as the Auto_Profiles, what goes in those fields? Right now its profile1 and profile2.
***EDIT***
After reading through netcfg page and changing a few more config files I got it to work. Thanks for the help :-)
