NetworkManager cannot see my wireless that iwlist founds

Last night i changed my wireless modem and configured it. On my Arch I can see it with "iwlist wlan0 scan" command but networkmanager cannot find it. Access Point is not hidden. I tried with another Arch pc but same result. When i try it with mint and ubuntu there is no problem. Any idea about the problem? Thanks.

Re: NetworkManager cannot see my wireless that iwlist founds

Hm, okay, thought you were hit by the new persistend device naming since systemd 197.

But to help you, we need more information.

So first tell us a little bit more about the device and how you configured it. Further information from dmesg and/or journalctl would be helpful, too.

Another point to investigate: Does it work with a manual setup ? Or do you get a connection with a different tool like netcfg or wicd?

Re: NetworkManager cannot see my wireless that iwlist founds

Try narrowing the problem down by manually connecting (swordfish offered a link to the wiki for how to do it).  This is the best way to diagnose the problem as it will break at the exact step where you are having a problem.  If it works, then you know it is a problem with network manager (I would start investigating config files at that point).
